Ang alcohol ether phosphate ay may mahusay na mga katangiang dekontaminasyon, emulsification, lubrication, paglilinis, dispersion, antistatic at anti-kalawang, mahusay na electrolyte solubility, acid at alkali resistance, hard water resistance, inorganic salt resistance, high temperature resistance, mahusay na biodegradability at mababang iritasyon. Ang alcohol ether phosphate ay ginagamit bilang pangunahing sangkap ng industrial alkaline cleaning agent at dry cleaning agent, metal processing working fluid, organophosphorus pesticide emulsifier, at textile oil agent. Ang alcohol ether phosphate ay ginagamit din bilang emulsion polymerization emulsifier, pigment dispersant, cosmetic emulsifier, oil well drilling mud lubrication dispersant, paper industry deinking agent; degreasing agent, leveling agent para sa industriya ng katad, atbp.
